As a kid I would ride my bike to Toukley bridge where my weekends and holidays were spent fishing for flathead, bream and tailor on the bridges rickety timber walkway.

I soon developed an interest in all things with finns and scales that has driven me to pursue all manner of species from bass to billfish over the last 30 years. I love all forms of fishing and now share many of my child hood experiences such as catching Garfish with my five year old daughter.
Along the way I took an avid interest in photography which has now become a major part of my time on the water. I love the power of an Image and its ability to capture the emotion of a fleeting glimpse in time. Whether I’m shooting for Fishing World, Coast to Coast Fishing New Zealand or Pure Fishing my trusty Nikon or HDV camera is always by my side.
